THE BLUE OF VORONET
Voronet is a town situated in Bucovina region; in Romania. Romania is a republic in Southeast Europe which borders the Black Sea, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Hungary, Serbia, and Moldova. It has an area of 238,391 square kilometres (92,043 sq mi) and a temperate-continental climate. With 19.94 million inhabitants, the country is the seventh most populous member state of theEuropean Union.

Its capital and largest city, Bucharest, is the sixth largest city in the EU.
Voronet is famous because of its monastery. The VoroneÈ› Monastery is a medieval monastery in the Romanian village of VoroneÈ›, now a part of the town Gura Humorului. It is one of the famous painted monasteries from southern Bukovina, in Suceava CountyThe monastery was constructed by Stephen the Great in 1488 over a period of 3 months and 3 weeks to commemorate the victory at Battle of Vaslui. Often known as the "Sistine Chapel of the East", the frescoes at VoroneÈ› feature an intense shade of blue known in Romania as "VoroneÈ› blue."

The monastery is located to the south of Gura Humorului in Suceava County, in the valley of the VoroneÈ› River. The legend of the origin of the church unites two men central to Romanian history: the founder of the monastery, Stephen the Great, and Saint Daniil the Hermit, the first abbot of the monastery. The tomb of Saint Daniil is located within the monastery.
